Dick has been an entrepreneur since high school.  He became fascinated in how research creates new possibilities for changing the world.

Dr. Richard Klavans

Dr. Klavans founded SciTech Strategies 30 years ago to identify research-based opportunities utilising a global model of the scientific literature for strategic planning and competitive intelligence.  He started Proposal Analytics to expand these opportunities by increasing the diversity of voices in research.  The Society for Competitive Intelligence (SCIP) awarded Dr. Klavans their Meritorious Award and the Fellows Award for his contributions to the field. He also served as the President of SCIP.

With an extensive professional background working with Fortune 100 companies, Dr. Klavans provides forward-thinking research decisions for his academic clients.

If Dr. Klavans is not in his office, he can be found searching for morel mushrooms with his dog, Mulligan, or exploring a new city with his wife.
